RMI is the vehicle by which Louie and Rita have answered the call to the nations of the earth. For many years they have had a heart and passion for the peoples of the world. In 2001, the catalyst was provided that would literally propel them into a world-wide ministry. The event that changed their lives forever was Louie’s first visit to the nation of Kenya. Having never gone on a missions trip, he was overwhelmed by the warmth, hospitality and spiritual hunger he saw in the people of Kenya. Since that first visit, Louie has made many trips and it is there he has found a special call that God has on his life.
Rita experienced much the same sense of being overwhelmed by the warmth and love of the Kenyans. It was not until August 2004 that Rita made her first trip. God had spoken to her earlier in 2004 telling her she would be accompanying Louie on his August trip. Prior to this word from the Lord she had been content to help prepare Louie for the trips and look after things on the homefront. However, following her visit, she sensed the same call of God to Kenya that Louie had been sensing for several years. Once both Louie and Rita answered the call of God to go to Africa, God began accelerating things and gave them a specific time table to make the move to Kenya.
| Many opportunities for ministry in many African nations are opening to Louie and Rita. They look forward to taking the message of the kingdom of God to these nations and sharing the word of His grace to those who are hungry to know how good God is...in Kenya and across the African continent. |
