Media Resource Centre

In April 2009, a container arrived from America with a wonderful array of books, tapes, CDs, DVDs, computers, sound equipment, office supplies and furniture. As a result, a Resource Media Centre was opened on the ministry compound. The Centre is unique in that it is not a lending library. People come, get a book, a tape, CD, etc. and listen and/or read in the Centre. Each day many come, some staying for hours, reading from the large selection of Christian books. The Centre has several computers that are internet connected, available to those who come, free of charge.

It is often heard said, even from pastors who have graduated from Bible School, that they have not seen as great a variety of books as is contained in the Centre.

The lack of resources is a major problem in Africa for anyone desiring to do research, have a variety of reading materials or have access to computers. RMI is making a huge difference by providing materials and computers. It is very fulfilling to see how hungry and studious the people are.
